Hanging Rock is considered a historic landmark in North Carolina, the East Coast, and even the United States. Join the troop as we head to the mountains for some hiking and fun activities.

Virginia Creeper Trail - Oct 20th - 22nd - $74 Scouts/$49 Leaders

What better way to experience the changing leaves than by bicycle at Virginia Creeper Trail.  Come experience this landmark bike trail in late October.  The outfitter provides bike rental and shuttle to the top of the trail.  Most of the trail is easy peddling/down hill and all skill levels can participate.


Due to the need for advance reservations, sign-ups for Virginia Creeper are closed.
Paintball - Dec 9th - $35 Scouts and Leaders (playing)

Come join the Troop as we tackle a paintball course together!  Shoot or be shot! Cost is $35 per Scout (and leaders who play) which includes paintball, equipment rental, and pizza! Leaders who are not playing paintball are free.

In case of emergency involving my child, I understand every effort will be made to contact me. In the event I cannot be reached, I hereby
give my permission to the medical provider selected by the adult leader in charge to secure proper treatment, including hospitalization,
anesthesia, surgery, or injections of medication for my child. Medical providers are authorized to disclose to the adult in charge examination
findings, test results, and treatment provided for purposes of medical evaluation of the participant, follow-up and communication with the
participant’s parents or guardian, and/or determination of the participant’s ability to continue in the program activities.  I also consent to the 
utilization of photographs of my Scout and family taken during Troop activities on Troop related media, including website, Facebook, and social media.
