Victory Lane - Go Kart Racing - January 25th
Come and join your fellow Scouts at the race track for some thrilling go karting!
On Saturday, January 25th 2024, 10am, Troop 120 Scouts and Leaders can race at Victory Lane Go-Karting! The price is $50 for both Scouts and Leaders who are racing. No charge for leaders who are just attending. if we don't get enough leaders racing, we may decide to do Scouts-only races as adults and youth can't compete at the same time.

Checkers Scout Night! - February 22nd
The Charlotte Checkers are having their Scout Night on Saturday, February 22nd, at 3pm. All Scouts, leaders, and family members are invited to attend.

Order of the Arrow and Kings Mountain Day Hike - March 14-16
Camp Barnhardt is hosting an Order of the Arrow event for those in OA to achieve Brotherhood and for those that need to complete their Ordeal to join OA.
The Troop will also be organizing a day hike at Kings Mountain State Park in SC during that same weekend. There will be opportunities to work on rank advancement and merit badge requirements as a part of this hike.

Dates: March 14-16 for OA and March 15th for the hike

2025 Summer Camp 1 - Camp Daniel Boone, Canton, NC - Jun 15-21
The first summer camp is our "official" local camp option, Camp Daniel Boone, in Canton, NC. This camp is an excellent camp for the entire Troop. It is also a good camp for first-year Scouts.

2025 Summer Camp 2 - Camp Bartle, Osceola, MO - Jun 22nd - July 2nd
The second summer camp option is H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation in Osceola, Missouri. This is led by John and Ryan Wagner, and our Troop has sent Scouts the last two years to this camp.
We have to reserve our spots for Camp Bartle in the fall, so there is a $75 deposit on November 4th in addition to the sign-up on this form. Cost is all-inclusive for camp, activities, and travel.
The dates are June 22-July 2 (travel day + 10 days of camp + travel day).

Swamp Base - High Adventure! July 13th - 20th
Swamp Base is a High Adventure paddle in the swamps of Louisiana. There are still a few spots open on this trip for Scouts that are 13 years or older. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Roth (rothja@hotmail.com).

Sea Base - High Adventure! Summer of 2026
Troop 120 is planning a High Adventure trip to Sea Base in the summer of 2026. Even though this is a long way off, we have to register in January of 2025 to make sure we get the adventure we want.
