Grandfather Mountain + Linville Gorge Campout

We're heading to the Grand Canyon of the East, Linville Gorge, for a difficult backpacking trek of several miles in and out. We will spend Friday night at Grandfather Campground. In the morning, we'll head out for the backpacking trek in Linville Gorge. This is required for Philmont Scouts to build the skills they'll need at Philmont in June, but it is open to any scouts willing to train and prepare.
